Prof. Joost Santos recently received a $50,000 subcontract from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The project, entitled "Enhancing Communities' Capability to Evaluate Investments in Resilience," is sponsored by the Community and Regional Resilience Institute and Oak Ridge National Laboratories. ASME assumes the leadership role in the project, and the project collaborators are Alion and Virginia Tech.
