The 2015 article “An approach to integrating occupational safety and health into life cycle assessment: development and application of work environment characterization factors,” co-authored by Dr. Kelly Scanlon (senior research scientist, EMSE Environmental and Energy Management Institute), Dr. Royce Francis, and three others was recognized recently as a Best Paper by the Journal of Industrial Ecology.
