NASA Selects GW Engineering Alumnus Andre Douglas as Backup Crew Member for Artemis II Flight

In the press release, “NASA Announces its Artemis II Backup Crew Member for Moon Mission,” NASA introduced astronaut and GW Engineering alumnus Andre Douglas, Ph.D. ‘21, as its backup crew member for the agency’s Artemis II test flight. Douglas will train alongside fellow NASA astronauts in the event one of them is unable to take part in the flight.
