In a recent study, Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Assistant Professor John Helveston found that electric vehicles (EVs) are driven less than gas cars. Building upon this, he published an op-ed titled, "Electric Vehicle Owners Are Not Driving Enough—And That's Bad," which discusses how used car buyers and the U.S. government need to dive into the marketplace to reverse this trend and deliver the emissions reductions promised by EVs.
